Steps to Animation

Clients can run you down, burn you out till you're left with just a drop of creative juice to finish the project just then they take you back to where you started from, and you wonder 'what the heck was wrong in the first instance'. Of course you've heard something like 'Emm, we're not there yet, I'll know it when I see it'. Revisions, rewrite, revision, **sigh, you can imagine. Isnt that a familiar feeling? Of course it is.

No more clueless clients, please.

Cub Studio lays the matter to rest comically in their 7 Steps to Animation video from briefing, scripting, style-frames / treatment, voice over, animation, audio mix and ultimately sign off, when you deliver the good shit (my favorite part). Not like I don't appreciate the paycheck or the fact I'm being considered for the project, a little understanding can really go a long way. Hopefully someone on the client side reads this post and truly appreciate the amount of work that goes into the art of animation. Enjoy the video.

Here's their post, really love the use of wobbly stick figure and humor, a minimalist treatment to the delicate story. Lol!
