Runaway Groom

Its been 2 months of total silence no post and no apology to that effect.

So I took the great audacious leap from being average .
What can I say? I thought the day will never come, as God will have it, it came and it took me more than a day. I practically lived through the experience of co-planning and actually getting married, the mere thought of it scares me shitless :)

I thought repeateadly to myself ‘can I cut through all the planning and spending and just wake up married?’ better still ‘can I just deputise the role of the groom till the wedding night and take over just before the action (clears throat).

I knew I wasn’t going to waltz through all this just like that, so at some point I just sucked it up and braced myself for an exciting adventure.

It was indeed an adventure, contrary to popular belief I chose a sweet Hausa babe and you can imagine the round tripping, Lagos to Abuja, Abuja to Niger, Niger to Lagos, Lagos to Benue, Benue back to Lagos not mentioning the few towns in between. Only one girl can make me do that and she is Saratu Atsadu, scratch that Saratu Okusi-Daniels and shes worth every mile.

After all said and done I can say good ridance to bachelorhood and my single serving lifestyle.
